With 4.4 hours of strong sunshine, UV level back into the ‘High’ level and the maximum rising again to 20.7C, average for August, Saturday was a very pleasant day. Also, there was no rain.
With a clear sky overnight the thermometer dropped continuously to a minimum of just 6.8C, 8C below the previous night. This was the coolest night since 11th May and almost 5C below the August average.
This morning we are enjoying a glorious start to the day with much strong sunshine after dawn and the thermometer recovering to 12.2C at 08.00.
